"My Vision & Mission statement is to assist Clients in helping them to heal from pain physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. To partner with them in a goal toward Holistic Health."                        Rita L. Hopper

Rita has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since January of 1998. She practices in Ohio and Kentucky and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She graduated from S.H.I — Self Health Incorporated — Integrated Medical Massage School in Lebanon, Ohio in October 1997 and received her license as a Medical Massage Therapist after passing four tests given by the State of Ohio in Anatomy, Physiology, Massage Theory and Practice.

Rita retired from Cincinnati Bell in 2003 after 30 years. During this time she worked closely with customers. She recently said, "I feel my time at Bell was a training ground for me. I learned to deal with people and this prepared me for my current work in the healing field, dealing with my clients on the massage table."

Rita's primary office is at Medical Massage Therapy Group, located at 10 Girard Street in Florence, Kentucky. But she also sees clients at the Moye Spiritual Life Center at Saint Ann's Convent in Melbourne, Kentucky and her office in Cincinnati; Finneytown Therapeutic Massage at 951 West North Bend Road Suite A3.

Rita's main body of study was in the art of Swedish Massage, but she continues her education in the healing arts by taking workshops in many different modalities of bodywork.
She has advanced training in:
Swedish Massage Three Levels of ReikiMyofascial Therapy - 40 hours
Cranial Sacral Therapy - 96 hours  Lymph Drainage - 32 hours

"Part of my motivation is that I want to share what I have experienced while being the one receiving the massage. I have been getting regular massages for the last 20 years and I know how it has helped me. My desire is to bring that experience to others. I want my clients to know the benefits and joys of caring for your body.

"I went to Columbus Ohio for the AMTA Conference in June 2006 and took MERT — Massage Emergency Response Team — for Disasters that may happen. We were trained as a team of Therapists who would go to the site of a Disaster, either natural or other, to work on people who were affected by the disaster, such as Hurricane Katrina. I hope I never have to use this training, but if I do, I want to be on the ground, working with all those who are helping others and with the victims, giving relief from tension and pain. I want to be part of the healing of this world."
